Introduction: The inhumane conditions in which the prisoners live inside the prisons derived from overcrowding, mistreatment and unproductive time, have generated a high degree of violence inside the prisons, violating the well-being of those deprived of liberty. From this situation derives
the initiative, which allows the development of productive projects within prisons, as a mechanism of social reintegration. The purpose of this research was to develop a market study for a broiler chicken and egg shed at the Aguachica, Cesar penitentiary. Methodology: The study was based on
a qualitative approach, with a descriptive scope with a bibliographic design, using a documentary review technique, based on the theory of Porter five forces. Results: The results show that there is a competitive environment in which the warehouse is located, which facilitates the implementation of market strategies for the development of This entrepreneurial activity.
