Introduction: This article presents an information management model aimed at improving competitiveness in Colombia's footwear sector by supporting strategic decision-making.
Methodology: A qualitative, hypothetico-deductive approach was applied, involving literature review, stakeholder workshops, global monitoring across 100 institutions, and validation through a panel with ACICAM business representatives.
Results: The resulting model is organized into five key dimensions: labor market, production processes, market research, infrastructure and logistics, and organizational culture. The model is adaptable to other productive sectors to foster decision-making and innovation.
