Study of reverse logistics and its importance in the business management of sustainable organizations

Due to the urgent need to implement more sustainable and environmentally friendly production mechanisms, reverse logistics is currently an increasingly recurrent topic of study, the objective of this article is to analyze investigative production around the concept of reverse logistics and its importance for business management, for this, 1628 documents have been identified that conceptualize and compile the evolution of reverse logistics during the period of time from 1990 to 2020, with the help of the Bibliometrix and VosViewer tools, results have been obtained that allow to analyze the volume of production by country, the most relevant sources of study, the authors with the greatest impact, the co-occurrence of keywords clearly delimiting main and secondary nodes, thematic evolution and finally, the estimation of the coefficient of lotkas on scientific production.
