Colombia ha tenido que padecer por más de cincuenta años las consecuencias nefastas de la violen- cia y el conflicto armado. Esto ha traído desplazamiento de la población, tierras baldías en manos de los grupos disidentes, población rural en zona de conflicto, la cual emigró hacia las ciudades capita- les en búsqueda de oportunidades, y apoyo del gobierno como reparador del daño ocasionado a esta población víctima, sin dejar de lado el gran impacto negativo sobre el nivel de competitividad de las economías de los departamentos receptores de dicha población afectada. En el presente artículo se realiza un análisis sobre el impacto que tiene para la economía regional y su nivel de competitividad, el fenómeno de la violencia y el conflicto armado padecido en el país, la llegada de población despla- zada del campo a la cuidad y todo los atropellos que ello implica para sus comunidades.
Mediante un cuadro comparativo se intenta mostrar cómo el conflicto armado sufrido por la región del Caquetá se ha convertido en una barrera para que su economía sea competitiva, en comparación con economías que no han sido tocadas directamente por la violencia y el conflicto armado y que logran ser competitivas.

Author
The content of the article must be unpublished, it must not be in the process of evaluation by another institution, it must not have been distributed to third parties, there must be no legal or contractual limitation that prohibits the author from authorizing the use of their work in open access and in printed or digital form.
Obtaining reproduction rights for all graphical material (tables, figures, diagrams, photographs) is the responsibility of the authors. Therefore, they must send authorizations for the publication and use of this material.
Each author must sign the ‘Copyright Transfer Agreement’, transferring the rights to Universidad Nacional Abierta y A Distancia (UNAD) and the Revista Estrategia Organizacional.
