Introduction: The energy transition requires the incorporation of renewable sources that contribute to diversifying the energy matrix and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In this context, the Colombian Caribbean offers significant potential for offshore wind energy development, creating the need for analyses that support investment decisions and energy planning. Methodology: The research conducted a techno-economic assessment through integrated mathematical modeling, considering meteorological, technical, environmental, and financial variables. RETScreen Expert was employed as the simulation and evaluation tool. Results: Findings indicate profitability scenarios with internal rates of return concentrated between 17% and 21%, together with a significant reduction in emissions, decreasing from 22,080.5 tCO₂e annually in the baseline scenario to 1,766.4 tCO₂e following project implementation. Conclusions: Wind farm development in the Colombian Caribbean presents favorable conditions for strengthening the national energy transition by combining economic and environmental benefits that support planning and investment in renewable energy projects.
