The incorporation of information and communication technologies into the educational processes have caused changes in the way we acquire knowledge, which has
generated new initiatives for the interaction and socialization of knowledge, creating experiences that contribute to the formation of human beings. This is possible, due to the existence of different technological platforms, which allow the development of educational content for carrying out academic activities. Thus, this article addresses the topic of virtual education as a new reliable study alternative, where active participation, communication, dialogic relationships, and presence of values in each one of the participants within the virtual educational process, make this a feasible and reliable process for their personal and professional development. Thus, the virtual educational process is possible given the conjunction of elements such as: The Internet, virtual environments and the willingness of speakers and participants to exchange knowledge by trusting each other, all this using the virtual educational process as a learning tool.
