The playfulness for the significant learning of photosynthesis in microalgae and its contribution in the reduction of the carbon footprint
Playfulness in education allows the formation of critical students, with skills and abilities in any field of action. The objective of the research is to develop a playful strategy to promote meaningful learning of photosynthesis in microalgae and its contribution to the reduction of the carbon footprint through an interactive game using the Quizizz platform. The development of the strategy includes: a diagnostic phase of previous knowledge, a design of the structured proposal that includes the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology), and evaluation of the results through the Cron Bach Alpha test and the Mann-Whitney test to determine the reliability of the tests applied. Likewise, this research is framed in an interpretative paradigm with a qualitative approach in order to understand the reason for a reality. The results obtained showed that the implemented ludic strategy made it possible to visualize the theoretical and conceptual management of the thematic approached, the students are not unaware of the thematic, they manage and relate the concepts of photosynthesis but with many weaknesses, therefore, it is concluded that the digital platform used allowed to continue optimizing the teaching learning process, However; the students of the Natural Sciences and Environmental Education degree program of the Universidad Popular del Cesar have not made an eco-pedagogical articulation within the teaching-learning process that allows them to have a critical and reflective posture towards their actions as human beings and as future environmental professionals.
