Durante los últimos años, el departamento de Nariño ha dedicado gran parte de sus esfuerzos a transformar su entorno mediante procesos económicos sostenibles y sustentables. A través del aprovechamiento de las potencialidades geoestratégicas para el desarrollo de la actividad agrícola, y junto con la formulación de pequeños proyectos de transformación en las prácticas tradicionales, el departamento busca ser más competitivo.
Desde la Comisión Regional de Competitividad del departamento de Nariño, se identifican catorce apuestas productivas, con lo cual se puede formular un plan de competitividad con proyección al año 2032. Siendo Nariño un departamento de tradición agrícola, el grupo Sindamanoy propone el proyecto “Logros y retos de las mypimes del subsector agroindustrial del departamento de Nariño”, cuyo objetivo es indagar sobre cuáles son las potencialidades por zona y los avances competitivos de sus productos.
La agroindustria, considerada como aquel proceso mediante el cual se mejoran tanto las materias primas como los productos intermedios fruto de la actividad agrícola, es para Nariño una gran opción para aumentar la competitividad. En ese sentido, la asociatividad en el desarrollo de los distintos procesos se convierte en una estrategia fundamental para enfrentar los retos que exige un mercado cada vez más competitivo. Además, en dicho proceso se debe vincular la triada: gobierno, academia y sector privado. Bajo este panorama, este artículo presenta los resultados del proceso de investigación adelantado en cuatro de las subregiones geográficas del departamento de Nariño; luego de lo cual se pudo comprobar que el departamento cuenta con una serie de potencialidades, como la agricultura, que mediante procesos de transformación agroindustrial serán generadoras de mayores ingresos para los productores y la región.

The content of the article must be unpublished, it must not be in the process of evaluation by another institution, it must not have been distributed to third parties, there must be no legal or contractual limitation that prohibits the author from authorizing the use of their work in open access and in printed or digital form.
Obtaining reproduction rights for all graphical material (tables, figures, diagrams, photographs) is the responsibility of the authors. Therefore, they must send authorizations for the publication and use of this material.
