Caso colombiano de las Pymes y su incidencia en la economía

This is an investigation of reflection, where through a consulting documentary sources provides the incidence of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Colombian economy. The research is supported by data that has been collected by different entities such as Colombian Association of Small Industries (ACOPI) CONFECAMARAS and the National Bureau of Statistics (DANE), to establish the relationship of SMEs to the economy, in that sense taken as regards the growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) which is rated to relational behavior of SMEs. This paper focuses on two sectors of the economy, manufacturing and trade. In the concluding part establishes the impact of small and medium enterprises in the economic process in relation to the economy, in concrete form in relation to nominal GDP in 2001.
