Knowledge management is considered a vital issue for all sectors in terms of what it means, how it is conceived and how it should be managed to be efficiently exploited. Thus, university is called to create opportunities for interaction with State and business sectors by applying strategies supported on sustainable and self-sustaining projects to meet the needs of the local and regional educational communities. In order to do this, in the framework of UNAD’s mision, the experiences developed by Arbelaez CEAD, leading to the consolidation of a Knowledge Management Centre, are presented here.
