Communication replacement or negation of communicative subject

This article is guided towards reflecting on social and political determinations that have been present in an incipient understanding differentiated between the categories of information and communication, and that have adopted the commercial and community media in Colombia too. And as the dissolution of these differences creates profound implications which place and move the subjects reported the potential of communicating subjects. It is chosen as the conceptual analysis of study methodology. Among the findings, we have obtained a theoretical foundation for the relationship between social determinations and interpretations of information and communication used by commercial and alternative media in Colombia. It is concluded that the indiscriminate use of these two concepts mediated by the social determinations of a hegemonic social and political system limits the potential of individuals communicating, while functional information subject reduced to the prevailing system.
