Current challenges to education in times of uncertainty

This writing revolves around three times: in the first, a diagnosis on
individuals and contemporary society is made; the second time a
characterization of the social context on the basis of the risk society
(Beck, 1986), social risks, political, economic and industrial threaten
our survival on the face of the earth, also shown, indicates uncertainty which are immersed and gradually compromise our decisions; and a third time, hand thinker Paulo Freire some challenges contemporary education where life seems to be being subordinated to commercial interests and where individuals are being isolated, and the alternative that is emerging is to consume and consume listed.
