Impact of oil palm in Mexico in the field: economic
The oil palm known scientifically as elaeis guineensis is a kind of palm that has palm oil as its main production, which is an oil that has the highest production only behind another type of oil, which allows it to position itself forcefully within various markets since through the oil obtained from this palm a great diversity of products are derived. that they are used for human consumption which allows to satisfy the existing demands within society; Through the arrival of oil palm, various factors have emerged that show the benefit it provides both socially and economically, the latter being one of the most important since its contributions to the economic growth of the country have been of great relevance, this is because it involves a great diversity of processes and people with which the benefits of this palm can be obtained. The objective presented in this research was made through a qualitative methodology supported by a descriptive approach to demonstrate that oil palm has had a relevant impact on the Mexican economy with this it was determined that the importance of oil palm for the agricultural sector has led to large states as well as producers and farmers obtain by dedicating themselves to this type of crops, due to the various economic benefits it provides in addition to the great versatility they have for the development of new products.
