The article considers that informality is usually in these times of pandemic caused by COVID-19 one of the strategies that many families have resorted to in the face of the new reality of the world, speaking in socioeconomic terms. However, there is a significant percentage of family businesses within the formality that day by day struggle not to disappear, since these ensure them the opportunity to have a formal job and therefore an income. This article aims to make visible the resilience of these family businesses that compete at a total disadvantage in price, quality, few resources with medium and large companies. Faced with this reality, the Mexican State has established economic support aimed at propping up these family businesses, however, access to this support can become tedious despite the facilities, so simpler alternatives are suggested to enhance the growth of these businesses. . Thus, using a qualitative methodology, we will explain how microenterprises remain at constant and permanent risk and face the challenge of survival every day. One of the suggestions to consider is that the State examine, transform, and promote these micro-business experiences into efficient and effective support, not only financial, but also market support, to change the present and create a new reality for these family businesses. To do this, you need to know and understand the resilience process of these family businesses
