The vermicompost is one is a modern technology, which consists of the intensive rearing of earthworms mainly of the species (Eisenia foetida), for the production of humus, this technique allows to recycle the wastes of vegetable or animal origin to obtain organic matter Nutrients for plants being an activity that generates multiple benefits in agriculture. The microorganisms that make up the organic matter help to improve the texture and structure of the soil by improving its water retention capacity and fertility, making the nutrients necessary for normal growth and development available to the plants.

The arazá (Eugenia stipitata) is a plant that is native to the Amazon which has some problems of demand for its productivity stories such as pH, soil type, etc. The objective of this project was to improve the soil in the agroecological farm of the Uniminuto University Corporation of God, through strategies and alternatives of vermicompost. In addition, a study was carried out on the efficiency of humus for the improvement of plant growth, understanding how favorable it is to use this organic fertilizer if one wants to talk about productivity
