Active learning as a teaching-learning process in the general physics course of the UNAD
In the analysis processes that are carried out within the courses of the different programs of the UNAD, the behavior of the students is reviewed on issues related to the passing and dropout rates, seeking to design strategies to reduce the dropout and failure rate, which is highly representative in basic science courses. Among these courses is General Physics, which meets the conditions of analysis, being a large course, with students from different programs and where the indicators of approval and dropout presented are not the most appropriate. In this sense, this document presents the process that will be carried out to incorporate active learning in the teaching-learning process in the general physics course of the UNAD, through the use of a didactic strategy based on guides, which will allow students understand and approach the basic concepts of physics in a more attractive way that is directly associated with the real world and everyday life and with what is intended to positively impact the passing rate of the course.
