“Navigators: Interconnected Stories” was a transmedia strategy developed in 2022 at the University of Antioquia with the purpose of creating a collective memory that would narrate the experiences, learning, and feelings of students, professors, and administrative staff from different university campuses and sections, as they faced the implementation of ICT in their academic and work activities in 2020 and 2021. The strategy was based on the metaphor of castaways launching messages in bottles to establish contact with the world. This metaphor conveyed the idea that individuals, like shipwrecked castaways, were not alone, as they could send a message in a bottle that could be read and heard by other members of the university community. The methodology of the strategy was developed in three stages: Shipwreck, Learning to Navigate, and Returning Home. The activities fostered the use of different formats and publication through various digital and analog media in a transversal way, making the stories and reconstruction of the collective memory widely known
