The purpose of this article is to discuss the many processes that affect the development of multiple intelligences by describing their different kinds and types of thinking that are present in online education students that have a virtual mediation, this is the case of the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia - Colombia.

The study at the methodological level was approached from a qualitative standpoint, with the support of some quantitative instruments. We worked on the Action Research (IA) type, the realities of the students were identified regarding the type of intelligence and its relationship with the type of thought; and later some guidelines were designed for the courses: Intelligence and Creativity of the Psychology and Pedagogy Program that is part of the Philosophy program. We took as a basis the multiple intelligence test of
Ugas, G. (2013), then a test was designed for the different types of convergent and divergent thinking,
and a form with open questions about their feelings regarding the results of the intelligence test. It is
subsequently intended that the teacher networks of the pedagogy courses of the Educational Sciences
School, the bachelor’s degree program in Philosophy and of Intelligence and creativity belonging to the
School of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, shall program the activities of these courses considering
the characteristics, factors and processes of students according to their type of intelligence based
on the results presented in this research.
