Toolbox to Improve the Viability of Productive Projects Formulated by Apprentices Articulated with SENA Fusagasugá

This study aims to improve the viability of productive projects formulated by apprentices in the articulation program with secondary education at SENA Fusagasugá. To achieve this, an interactive pedagogical toolbox was designed and validated, promoting educational innovation by facilitating the understanding and application of key financial concepts. A mixed-method approach with a descriptive-correlational scope and the Design Thinking methodology was employed. The sample included 132 apprentices, applying entry behavior tests and a test-retest approach with a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error. The reliability of the instruments was validated using Kuder-Richardson KR20 (91%). Additionally, Focus Groups with experts and a PESTEL analysis were conducted to assess external factors.

The results showed a 50% improvement in average performance, with increases in SWOT analysis (+56.8%) and cost calculation (+53.0%). The toolbox strengthened financial skills and enhanced autonomy in decision-making.

It is concluded that educational innovation transforms technical training, although it faces technological limitations in rural environments. It is recommended to scale this model to other technical education programs and integrate artificial intelligence and augmented reality to optimize financial viability teaching.
