TEJIENDO PALABRAS Y COSA NOSTRA: RADIO, PEDAGOGY ANDTRANSFORMATION IN THE SINEP–UNAD
This work presents the experience of the radio programs Tejiendo Palabras and CosaNostra, developed within the framework of the Sistema Nacional de Educación Permanente (SINEP) at UNAD. Both projects have turned radio into a pedagogical and cultural laboratory that connects communication, learning, and territory.
Tejiendo Palabras has strengthened academic processes through situated pedagogy, while CosaNostra has energized youth and cultural reflection, promoting creativity, critical participation, and the appropriation of artistic and social expressions.
The results show significant impacts on student retention, the development of communication skills, the consolidation of youth leadership, and the creation of interregional learning communities. Through collaborative production with differentiated roles between teachers and students, the programs have achieved wide dissemination on Radio UNAD Virtual and social networks, reaching interactions exceeding 200,000 people.
In line with the Modelo Pedagógico Unadista Solidario 5.0, these experiences demonstrate that university radio is a cornerstone for educational innovation, inclusion, and cultural transformation. The next steps include strengthening its organizational structure, broadening teacher and student participation, expanding the initiative to more regions, and systematizing the model for replication.
