When RIAA receives the postulation of an original by its author, either through email or post mail, considers that it can be published in physical and/or electronic format and facilitates its inclusion in databases, newspaper archives and other systems and indexing process. RIAA authorizes the reproduction and citation of the Journal’s material, provided that explicitly indicates journal name, the authors, the article title, volume, number and pages. Caracterización socio-económica del corregimiento la Pampa zona rural del municipio de Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
Se presenta una caracterización socio-económica de los habitantes del corregimiento La Pampa en zona rural del municipio de Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, en el año 2016. El objetivo de la investigación fue diagnosticar las problemáticas a nivel social, económico y ambiental que más afectan a esta comunidad, y establecer con precisión cuales son las necesidades en términos de capacitación. Se utilizó un enfoque de triangulación metodológica, o método mixto realizando un levantamiento de información cuantitativo mediante una ficha técnica de encuesta, tomando una muestra de 120 encuestas a hogares, la cual se cruzó con la información cualitativa obtenida a través de la realización de 15 entrevistas semiestructuradas en profundidad. A partir de la teoría de las NBI -necesidades básicas insatisfechas-, se pudieron establecer los altos índices de pobreza en los que se encuentran los habitantes del corregimiento La Pampa.
