Mixed reality and its Relationship with Museum: Redesigning adolescent interaction
This research explores adolescents' perceptions regarding the implementation of immersive technologies, such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), in traditional museums. Through a mixed methodological approach, attitudes, emotions, and expectations toward these tools applied at the Gold Museum are analyzed. The results show that mixed reality has the potential to transform the educational and cultural experience by increasing interest, interaction, and emotional connection with the exhibits. It is concluded that these technologies not only enrich learning but also promote greater accessibility and appeal in museum environments.
