Efficient inventory management in healthcare institutions is a critical factor that significantly impacts all organizational processes, ensuring proper service delivery and timely supply of required inputs for patient care. This project presents a comprehensive methodology to optimize the management of medical supplies inventory in a high-complexity healthcare institution. The main objective is implementing a system that allows for efficient planning, organization, and control of inventory supply, rotation, and flow, minimizing shortages, lack of availability, and non-rotating inventories. The proposed methodology involves initially characterizing the current process to identify the root causes of deficiencies. Subsequently, a Lean Healthcare-based inventory management system is implemented, incorporating visual tools and alert signals to monitor the availability of supplies in each warehouse. Control and monitoring are done through a Power BI dashboard integrated with a customized Power Apps application to record inventory movements. The expected practical implications include real-time control and visualization of available quantities, proper definition of inventory rotation, reduction of shortages and urgent purchases, and obtaining statistical data to evaluate the results of the implemented Lean methodology. The originality lies in designing and implementing an innovative cloud architecture using Microsoft Azure services integrated with a customized Power Apps application. This application is directly linked to storage services and SQL Server and MySQL databases in Azure, allowing for a seamless data flow.

Additionally, identifying barcodes and QR codes are generated for each product. Adequate training and staff commitment are fundamental to successfully adopting the proposed methodology. Limitations include analyzing the solution's scalability and exploring additional techniques to optimize medical inventory management processes further.
