Teacher performance evaluation: effective tools for continuous improvement in teaching
Teacher performance evaluation is a vital component of ensuring educational quality. This scientific article discusses the effective tools used in the evaluation of teacher performance, focusing on their contribution to the continuous improvement of teaching. Through a comprehensive analysis of methods such as class observation, direct feedback, student and peer surveys, as well as the review of pedagogical materials, we explore how these tools offer a holistic view of teacher performance. It examines the positive impact of these tools not only in identifying teacher strengths and areas for improvement, but also in fostering an educational environment that promotes reflection and professional growth. In addition, the fundamental role of these assessment systems in promoting a school culture of collaborative learning is highlighted, where the exchange of best practices and collaboration among peers are fundamental for educational advancement. In conclusion, this scientific article shows how the evaluation of teacher performance, through effective tools, not only offers a rigorous evaluation, but also drives continuous improvement in teaching, promoting quality education and an environment conducive to student success.
