Layered software development model applied to the creation of the ECJP Virtual Legal Office, from the Software Development Technology program
The layered software development model is a technique used for building web applications, enabling a hierarchical organization of software layers. This article presents a layered software development model applied in a virtual legal clinic system at a higher education institution. The software architecture proposed in this model is based on defining layers from the highest level to the lowest, which allows for easy integration of new functionalities and efficient project management. Furthermore, the layered architecture also enables abstraction of the application across any software or hardware platform, both on the client and server sides. Each defined layer can be replaced without the need to rewrite the others, making system maintenance easier. Additionally, the UNAD law program will have a robust and user-friendly system for all its users.
