Pinceladas de historia - Contrapunto - An educational experience mediated with video games
- “Pinceladas de Historia - Contrapunto” is a prototype of an electronic game to present in a graphic and animated way historical facts of our country and from them build critical thinking in children and young people who have access to it.
The video game was thought of as a necessity, since teaching history at school allows students to build conceptual perspectives.
Currently, students have lost interest in learning history, they see it as one more requirement of their educational program, which becomes an additional difficulty for the teachers who are in charge of taking the course. That is why Brushstrokes of History seeks to help break the stereotype regarding learning history and also promote knowledge of the most relevant events in our country.
