This article presents a summary of the progress of the Pedagogical Strategies project supported by augmented reality, the applied research arises from the problem posed. What factors must be taken into account to facilitate the application of educational strategies through the use of a technological tool? To answer this question, the project proposes to use emerging technologies as part of the innovation of teaching practice, seeking to establish a new basis for the improvement of teaching and learning in some of the educational institutions of Montería.

The objective of the project is to define and implement this strategy by carrying out a diagnostic analysis of the characterization of participants and some educational institutions in Montería, in order to identify features and trends in the use and application of technologies in the classroom. To examine its validity, a pilot test is being developed in different educational institutions.

For this, the instrument of informal interviews is applied, a matrix is built for the characterization of profiles, which allows the actors involved to be described generationally and technologically. Subsequently, the institution is selected where a pilot test will be implemented to verify the proposed disruptive strategy.

The result generated with these actions allows the recognition and qualitative characterization of the generational profiles involved in the technology-based teaching-learning process. This characterization will allow the identification of factors that must be satisfied by the training tools and strategies so that they adapt to users and positively modify the educational routine through innovative, creative and experimental training processes. This document also presents the selection process of the school to carry out the pilot test.

As a result of this phase, a diagnostic analysis of the characterization of the participants in the teaching-learning process is obtained, as well as the characterization of the selected institutions in order to identify features and trends in the use and application of technologies in the classroom. to start the pilot test.
