IOT applications for the home – IOT aquarium development
The technological trend of the Internet of things is a very important issue in society, day by day it is being combined in consumer products, durable goods, cars and trucks, industrial and utility components, sensors and others. everyday objects with Internet connectivity. Today we can talk about IoT for the home as an ally in the control of elements, such as aquariums or fish tanks for ornamental and life use, which require attention and care to preserve the lives of their inhabitants. This document refers to the development of an IoT prototype product of an applied research of descriptive type, developed in one of the courses of the Master in IT Management of the UNAD, which allows to measure the variables of temperature and level of the water of the tank, in order to maintain a suitable environment for the fish that live in it, generating online reports on the status of the tank and the variables mentioned, alerting the user in case of situations that affect it, in order to take the necessary actions.
