Financial capabilities in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises
Due to the development of markets, economies have ceased to be local in nature where being competitive is a requirement. However, factors such as lack of financing and investment decisions without prior analysis of quality financial information inhibit business competitiveness. This situation prevails in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The highly competitive environment requires companies to establish comprehensive financial strategies. The objective of this article is to present a comparative analysis of indicators used to measure and/or evaluate financial capacities in various instruments according to empirical evidence, in order to identify the main measures used for the diagnosis of these in the business sector. The study is based on a documentary research of descriptive type and scope, qualitative approach, non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The results of the critical and content analysis provided a conceptual framework of the components of financial capabilities.
