Identification of the level of technological management of the metal-mechanic sector in the city of Duitama
Technological Management can be conceived as the meeting of vital production actions supported by knowledge and expertise, this interaction adds value to the products and determines the business differentiating factor. The objective of this article is to evaluate the level of technological management in which the metal-mechanic sector is found in the city of Duitama to propose management actions and strategies that project it competitively, the type of research used is non-experimental descriptive, with finite population sample of 131 companies, using proportional stratified sampling, taking Technology Management as a system as the main axis in this analysis, and as study categories the input variables to the system that, from operationalization, become evaluation criteria of the levels of technological management, which is found in the theoretical foundation; through a diagnostic analysis that allows determining the level of the current situation of the sector, which places it at level 2 medium-low, which means that the criteria involved in Technological management are not taken into account as a support for strategic actions of their organizations. reaching the conclusion that technology management becomes an organizational and sectoral challenge.
