Digital tools for occupational health and safety: a systematic review
Organizations are exposed to constant changes in the handling and processing of internal information within their management systems and that is why innovation, digitization and virtualization of processes is a key aspect for the competitiveness of organizations; In recent years, there has been an increase in the use of audiovisual and technological tools as strategies in administration, management and communication in the implementation of occupational health and safety management systems (SG-SST).
The audiovisual tools for the administration of the SG-SST can include web applications, mobile applications for Android devices, software installed on computers, which have brought multiple advantages for the quality of the processes; Among the benefits of the implementation are the optimization of process systems, agile and simpler processes, safe and reliable traceability of processes, saving paper by replacing manual processes with digital ones, contributing to the protection of the environment. environment, statistics and metrics of corrective measures and quality indicators can be kept in real time.
Conditions that have allowed the Occupational Health and Safety Administration Program to propose the development of a web application, for the management of the SG-SST system under the regulations of Resolution 0312 of 2019, the regional and technical context; starting with the systematic review of what exists, to identify the business needs that will be selected and reflected in the digital tool.
