Systematization of the integration of Colombian Sign Language and Muysccubun in inclusive didactic strategies for the Muysca community

The integration of Colombian Sign Language (LSC) and Muysccubun at Celestín Freinet School emerges as an innovative response to the need to strengthen the identity and cultural inclusion of the Muysca people in Suba. This work aims to systematize and analyze the experience of implementing didactic strategies that bring both languages together, fostering active participation from the educational community and the indigenous council. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, including focus groups, interviews, and participant observation, the study captured perceptions, challenges, and progress in the linguistic integration process. Key results include a strengthened sense of belonging, reduced isolation among deaf students, and the creation of culturally relevant educational materials. Collaboration among elders, teachers, and students enabled the adaptation of strategies to real contextual needs, although challenges such as institutional resistance and the need for greater teacher training persisted. This experience demonstrates that ethnoeducation, supported by critical reflection and community participation, can transform the classroom into a more inclusive and diverse space, laying the groundwork for the replicability and sustainability of similar initiatives in other educational contexts.
