This paper presents the systematization of the experience of a pedagogical research practice focused on highlighting strategies that enhance the Namui Wam language among preschool and first-grade children at a Misak Educational Institution. This need arises due to the weakening of language transmission, affected by the influence of Spanish. Therefore, it is urgent to implement strategies that promote its use from early childhood, ensuring its preservation and revitalization. The research follows a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design, identifying various didactic strategies based on oral tradition: storytelling to transmit ancestral knowledge and foster oral comprehension, games to encourage interaction and the spontaneous use of the language, and songs to facilitate vocabulary memorization. The results show that these strategies strengthen familiarity with Namui Wam and its connection to cultural identity. However, limited exposure to the language at home restricts its impact. The main limitations include the scarcity of didactic materials and the diversity of students’ linguistic competence levels. It is recommended to design specific educational resources and strengthen bilingual education strategies that integrate school and community efforts to ensure the revitalization of the language.
