This article proposes the revision of a strategy for the registry and analysis of artistic practices carried out in public spaces, or unconventional spaces, for the exhibition of art in the city of Bogota. Said practices make use of the lasting symbolic appropriation strategy. The registry practice is supported by an application for mobile devices, developed within the framework of a research project by the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia, UNAD. Furthermore, this article aims to analyze the artistic practices that are carried out in the city’s public space and the opportunities that may arise when carrying out a registration and cataloging process. Likewise, it analyzes the relevance of the user’s point of view for the registration of the aforementioned artistic practices in public spaces of the city and the path that said registry could bring to collaborative curation practices.
