El impacto del análisis del conflicto en los resultados de la operación Barkhane en Mali
El aumento de los niveles de violencia en Mali, a pesar de las múltiples operaciones de paz y contraterrorismo, han mostrado la inefectividad de las acciones. Entre las razones que se intersecan en el fracaso, hay elementos de fallo en el análisis del contexto. A lo largo del artículo se plantea el impacto que esto ha tenido. Usando la metodología de caso de estudio, este artículo busca identificar las limitaciones en el análisis del contexto y explorar cómo han influenciado la planificación estratégica y los resultados. El argumento principal es que la narrativa que posiciona a los rebeldes islamistas en el centro del conflicto ha eclipsado la mayor parte de los recursos para la resolución de los conflictos, sin ser la problemática central. Al mismo tiempo, la interacción entre islamistas y contraterroristas ha facilitado un enquistamiento y escalada del conflicto.
