Design of a coupling system by CNC milling machine for the measurement of electrical conductivity in aqueous solutions
This Working Paper presents the simulations of the design and machining by CNC milling machine of prototype potentiomeric cell for the measurement of electrical conductivity in aqueous solutions, with application to precision agriculture. The prototype integrates an electrical conductivity sensor, thermocouple and mechanical stirrer. Highlighting key points, such as the need to make two lateral perforations for cleaning the cell, indication of the thickness of the container that allows packaging as a seal, the curved design of the corners and the projection for improvement with support wings.
