Proposal for improvement in the process control of pautas for a radio communications company

Caracol S. A. and its group of stations "Tropicana, W Radio, Caracol Radio, Bésame, Radioactiva, Los 40 Principales, Oxigeno and Q'hubo Radio" have coverage in ninety percent of the national territory and some operations in the world such as Panama, Mexico, Costa Rica, Miami, Madrid, Argentina among other large cities, through these brands and through frequencies in amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency modulation (FM), in addition to entertainment and news, commercial slots are transmitted that in the last are the chain support.

At present, the company Caracol S.A has presented long review times in the guideline and a significant number of inconsistencies in the quality of the information transmitted through the process; which has generated cost overruns, claims, loss of image and non-quality costs for the company. The objective of this project is to design an improvement proposal for the guideline control process, through the use of tool statistics, through the characterization of the process, the definition of the baseline and the identification of the improvement foci; In order to achieve the reduction of inconsistencies in the process, the reduction of review time, improving the use of resources in financial, human, and technological terms

The parent company of Caracol SA, the Prisa Radio group, has been implementing tools and applications in Spain to improve response times in certification, but at the time of using them here in the country they have not given results since the software is fed with different information and some commands are not compatibles with nationals.
