The countries of Latin America and the Caribbean can obtain significant benefits by improving their logistics performance.  The search for solutions that contribute in a modular and scalable way to the implementation of logistics management within companies in gestation and growth, becomes a marked need at the level of the Latin American business fabric. Under these considerations, the main objective of this article is to propose a method that allows a company that does not yet assume logistics as a priority, to start its logistics operational work, to recognize phases of operational control of the logistics flow in tasks, operations and processes, and thus, to insert in the company the seed that allows, subsequently, the development of its logistics and supply chain work. The research makes use of the empirical method, analyzing a phenomenon found in the research process where a hypothesis is proposed based on a sequence of basic logistic operations, ordered based on theoretical and experiential concepts that could generically describe the physical logistic flow, to then be contrasted by comparison with hypothetical processes where the logistic flow is present at micro and macro level, seeking the validation of this order and content of processes as a sequence that describes the flow under review.
