Research from the qualitative methodology carried out through the study of multiple cases; semi-structured interviews with teachers and schoolchildren and a workshop with children were used to collect information; the population 83 fourth grade students and 2 teachers of this grade. The results highlight that teachers who show empathy towards their students facilitate the adaptation of schoolchildren.
