The goal of this research was to integrate an educational mobile application as a pedagogical strategy for recognizing Amazonian diversity in the teaching of natural sciences in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades of primary education at the Rural Educational Institution Quinapejo in Puerto Guzmán, Putumayo. This aimed to describe and understand the impact of innovative educational strategies on teaching and learning processes. It was carried out through the application of a qualitative method, targeting students between 8 and 12 years old. The research was developed in four phases. In the first phase, the pedagogical potential of mobile applications was identified. In the second phase, the design of the integrative pedagogical proposal for a mobile application was conducted. In the third phase, the strategy was implemented by developing the mobile application. Finally, in the last phase, the results obtained were evaluated. By comparing the results of the initial test and the final test, it was evident that the pedagogical strategy of integrating mobile applications strengthened knowledge in the area of natural sciences. This led to significant learning processes that allowed better assimilation and retention of knowledge. The analysis of the results demonstrated the impact of mobile applications in educational processes, as they facilitated greater engagement and a higher level of attention in activities that involved the use of mobile applications.
