Our research seeks to contribute to the renewed process of critical theoretical analysis of the Modernity project, proposing a case study - the Puracé Indigenous Reservation, with which we hope to contribute elements to the understanding of the way in which the multiethnic, pluriracial character is materialized. and multireligious of our country, Colombia; to the ways in which the sociocultural practices of indigenous communities are articulated or disarticulated, with respect to the Rule of Law. This objective will be answered, through the characterization of the Social Imaginary and the representations and narratives that underlie and are constitutive of a “Puracé epistemology”, a process within which the elements of a “Puracé epistemology” will be established, and the ways in which will be shown. This epistemology guides and informs the actions and decisions of the indigenous community in their political struggles and for the conservation of “ancestral territory.”
