Engineering learning supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools
University professors face the challenge of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into education, viewing it as a resource that enriches the teaching-learning process. AI offers new strategies for teaching, assessment, and feedback, promoting active methodologies, task automation, personalized tracking, and improved communication. This facilitates dynamic and inclusive learning. This study focuses on engineering students from three universities (Universidad EAN, Universidad Militar Nueva, and Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios) to assess the implementation of AI tools in their training. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through surveys applied to students to understand their experience with AI. The results highlight the positive impact of these tools on learning and provide guidance for developing innovative and adaptive pedagogical strategies, thereby improving engineering education and responding to the emerging needs of students.
