Strategic planning in MSMEs in the indoor crops sector in Bogota

This research article explores, through the identification, description and analysis, the challenges associated with strategic planning in micro, small and medium-sized companies in the indoor crops sector in Bogota. Through an exploratory and quantitative methodology, which included a sample of five companies in the sector, a survey of entrepreneurs was conducted, the results of which revealed several challenges. Among the main challenges were the limited availability of financial resources, lack of trained personnel, and difficulties in accessing accurate and timely market information.

Despite these obstacles, the entrepreneurs recognize that strategic planning is essential to establish clear objectives, take advantage of opportunities, minimize threats and optimize resources, contributing to the growth and sustainability of their businesses. It is concluded that adequate strategic planning strengthens the positioning of these companies in the market and guarantees their sustainable development.
