This article discusses a current issue in an educational institution in Dosquebradas, Risaralda, regarding the analysis of ICT skills for the use of web support tools in the teaching and learning process of philosophy 4.0. The purpose of the study is to analyze the importance of developing ICT skills on the web through critical and creative thinking for meaningful and functional learning.

It should be noted that this study is a field investigation, whose paradigms or approaches are mixed (empirical-analytical and interpretive-constructive), applied to a population of sixty 10th and 11th grade high school students, using a probabilistic representative sampling method, and two philosophy teachers. Data was collected using a questionnaire, structured interviews, and guided lectures, which led to a thesis that supports data measurement using an additive Likert scale, with gradation as an intensity scale in descending order of importance. At the same time, the main findings are shown in tables and scatter plots that support the answer to the problem question: Is it necessary for philosophy teachers to acquire ICT skills to teach philosophy 4.0 at the Dosquebradas Educational Institution in Risaralda?
