New technologies offer small and medium-sized businesses advantages that can be leveraged as a significant opportunity for their growth in international trade. Tools such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, the cloud, and digital marketing, among others, enable process improvements, reduced costs, and entry into unexplored markets. This paper delves into the understanding of the potential influence of emerging technologies on the evolution and competitiveness of MSMEs in the international trade context. It also proposes strategies for achieving business success through the application of emerging technologies. Methodologically, the research used a qualitative, hermeneutic approach, applying a documentary method, which required a search for appropriate theoretical references. The findings show that there are a set of elements pertaining to emerging technologies that are fundamental to strengthening MSMEs in foreign trade because they positively impact organizations. This provides a significant contribution since it allows us to understand the basic strategies for business growth and sustainability.
