Reacciones Internacionales ante la destrucción de patrimonio en los casos de Siria y Yemen
La destrucción de patrimonio cultural está deviniendo una constante durante los conflictos armados, y los casos de Palmira y Sana’a son paradigmáticos de estas dinámicas. ¿Ha habido diferencias entre la problematización internacional de ambos? Teniendo en cuenta variables como el espacio que ocupan ambos estados en la estructura de poder internacional, los diferentes actores involucrados, el factor estado islámico y la vertiente identitaria del patrimonio cultural, esta investigación estudia su visibilización internacional mediante un análisis basado en las reacciones internacionales. El objetivo final es calibrar el ecosistema generado alrededor de cada caso de estudio. Para analizar los dos casos de estudio se confrontarán las diversas reacciones separadas por categorías. Estas han sido creadas a partir de los modelos propuestos por Heritage for Peace y Al Quntar y Daniels. El resultado final de la revisión constata una problematización diferenciada de ambos casos en la agenda pública internacional.
