The objective of the research is to generate an efficient food production model through the construction and evaluation of a functional prototype of an automated aquaponic system using filling and drainage techniques in one of the culture beds and the floating root technique. in the other one.
It is proposed to solve two problems of aquaponic systems, the efficiency in the monitoring of water quality and the control in the recirculation and quantity of water in the system, for this, a control system is used that allows to capture the information of the relevant variables, analyze them and be able to carry out the relevant actions through actuators. It is proposed to configure the system to program the on and off time of the water pump, measure the water level in the culture and operate a valve based on the level, measure the water level in the fish tank and make decisions, on the other hand, it will capture the information of water temperature, ambient temperature and relative humidity, this information will be stored in a cloud service that will allow you to track variables and represent them using graphics.
