The purpose of this project is to implement a desktop legal application for the Reyes & Asociados law firm, which requires customized software to manage the information generated in legal proceedings, such as client data, their counterparties, lawyers involved, and all relevant documentation. This includes the mandate contract signed between the client and the Reyes & Asociados law firm, the lawsuits filed, the tutela actions, and other legal documents. The project was developed using the agile Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, along with the Java programming language and MySQL as a database management system. Currently, the prototype is in the BETA phase, with a TRL5 maturity level, which indicates that, although it requires improvements, it is a functional and adequate design to meet the needs of the Reyes & Asociados law firm.
