This project has been developed at the I.E.M Humberto Muñoz Ordoñez in the city of Pitalito - Huila, Colombia, its main objective is to use innovative and motivating tools for students to build knowledge and develop soft skills such as autonomy, responsibility, creativity, and teamwork, in addition to establishing a strategy to develop transversal cognitive skills and competencies in students.

To achieve this, a pedagogical intervention was designed in the curriculum of the Technology and Informatics subject, in which the thematic content was updated with guidelines in educational robotics, addressing different situations to improve learning processes, mainly in STEM skills.

Within the classroom, we worked with the PBL (Project-Based Learning) methodology, which encourages the development of collaborative projects and the use of digital technologies as primordial axes in their activities, since they are considered propitious tools for the development of expressive, creative, and productive skills in them.

The implementation of the sustainable didactic strategy based on educational robotics has generated positive results in the training of students, allowing them to develop soft skills and transversal cognitive skills, such as logical and computational thinking; It is to be recognized that the latter has been achieved thanks to the use of resources and/or programming tools, robotics kits and educational software.
