According to figures presented by the Ministry of Education of Colombia, the largest number of illiterates in the country is found in rural regions and aged over 60 years, which allows including in this characterization farmers who have agricultural vocation and empirical training mainly associated with agricultural practices, it is this type of user who will find it very difficult to adapt to new technologies that seek to systematize the field, unless these are first adapted to their special needs regarding their digital knowledge. Taking into account the challenge of the adoption of technology by the population with digital illiteracy in the field, the importance arises that the aforementioned technologies are accessible to people who are part of the agricultural workforce in Colombia.
